11 Days Kilimanjaro- Great Migration Tanzania Safari Itinerary

Days 1: Karibu Tanzania

Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro international airport; our guide will meet you to commence your Tanzanian wilderness safari. He will give you a quick brief as you transfer to your hotel for dinner. Overnight in Mountian Kilimanjaro view lodge with breakfast included.

Day 2: Kilimanjaro Hike

Wake up to breakfast at mountain Kilimanjaro view lodge before our guide drives you to Kilimanjaro National Park gate. You will register at the gate then start your mountain Kilimanjaro hike. The hike will be a great opportunity to spot colobus monkeys and several bird species.

Day 3: Another Day in Kilimanjaro Mountain

After your night at Mandara hut, you will wake up in the morning for breakfast before starting on your final hike. You will have lunch at Mandara after which you will hike back to the park gate. Our driver-guide will drive you to Gran Melia Arusha. You spend the rest of the day resting at this hotel. You will also spend your night at this hotel with breakfast covered in the morning.

Day 4: Tarangire National Park

Our driver-guide will transfer you to Nimali Tarangire camp. It is at this camp that you will spend the next two nights of your trip. The camp offers full board accommodation services. Enroute Nimali Tarangire camp, you will have a game drive in Tarangire national park. The main highlights of your game drive will be to spot the Gerenuk antelope, tree-climbing lions and the African Elephants.

Day 5: Tarangire National Park Exploration

You will have another game drive in Tarangire national park. Your lunch will be packed, with some fruits to crunch on during the game drive. The highlights for this second game drive will be to spot; giraffes, honey badger, African wild dog, cheetahs, leopards, Vervet monkey, Dik Dik, Elands among other Tanzanian wildlife species.

Day 6: Ngorongoro Conservation Area Via Lake Manyara national park

You will set off early in the morning after breakfast from Nimali Tarangire camp to Lake Manyara national park for a game drive. Your lunch will be packed in the morning since you will not be able to have lunch anywhere during the game drive. You will spend your night at Lemala Ngorongoro tented camp after the game drive in Lake Manyara national park.

Day 7: Ngorongoro Conservation Area Exploration

You will have breakfast in the morning before setting off for a game drive in the Ngorongoro conservation area. The main highlight of Ngorongoro conservation area will be the Ngorongoro craters. Your lunch will also be packed in the morning from Lemala Ngorongoro tented camp. After the game drive in Ngorongoro conservation area, you will spend the night at Lemala Ngorongoro tented camp.

Day 8: Serengeti National Park

After breakfast at Lemala Ngorongoro tented camp, You will have another game drive in Ngorongoro crater and Serengeti national park on the same day. Since you will not be able to buy lunch on the way; your lunch will be packed in the morning when setting off from Lemala Ngorongoro tented camp. After the game drive, transfer to Nimali central Serengeti to stay for the next three nights with all meals included while exploring the hidden treasures of the magnificent Serengeti National Park.

Day 9: Full Day Game Drive in Serengeti National Park

You will have breakfast at Nimali central Serengeti after which you will have your lunch packed. Your guide will take you for a full day game drive in Serengeti national park. Among the animals to see include hundreds of the Wildbeets, gazelles, zebras, Buffaloes, impalas, hartebeests, Lions, topis, waterbucks as well as kopjes, hyrax, pythons and many others. Later transfer back to Nimali central Serengeti in the evening.

Day 10: Full Day in The Wild

You will repeat the same routine of day 9. You will have breakfast in the morning at Nimali central Serengeti then have your lunch packed before you set off for another game drive in Serengeti national park. Every day brings a new experience, and Serengeti is never boring. You will have a mid-morning game drive and an afternoon game drive after which you will transfer to Nimali central Serengeti for accommodation and dinner.

Day 11: Reserved for Departure

This will be the last day of your Tanzanian Safari. You will have breakfast Nimali central Serengeti. Your lunch will be packed you transfer to Seronera Airstrip. You will catch a flight to Kilimanjaro International Airport to catch your flight back home.
